Adele Hagedorn (nee Hertz), Heni Hertz, and Alfonse Hagedorn (Adele's husband); Sao Paulo, Brazil [1939]. Heni Hertz, the mother of Carl and Adele moved to Sao Paulo in 1939 after her daughter Adele married and moved there with her husband [1937]. Alfonse was a leather worker and thus was able to emigrate to Sao Paulo with his wife. Heni Hertz was Leonard Frank's sister.
