(Alice) Lyone. 13 November 1927 celebrated the opening of the free baby clinic at the National Council of Jewish Women Neighbourhood House. The clinic was chaired by M. H. Eva Brotman and operated of Dr. F.T. Underhill, a city medical office. Dr. Davies provided services voluntarily. The clinic included a dental department and was in operation 2 days a week.

Mrs. Reinhart served as treasurer of the Ladies' Benevolent Society of San Francisco. In Victoria she was a member of the Hebrew Ladies Society and on the Committee of the Female Infirmary. She lived with her husband Simon on Humboldt Street in Victoria.

Sam had been travelling from his home in Fort St. James, where he had been a trapper for 88 years, to Vancouver to take up residence in the Vancouver Home for the Aged.

Black and white image of Louis Brier in a convertible parked in front of an ice cream shop. Louis Brier was the "unknown" benefactor of the Jewish community. He was the owner of the "first and only steam motor car in Lynn Valley", cites Cyril E. Leonoff in his book Pioneers, Pedlars and Prayer Shawls (1978). The building in the background was erected by Brier at the corner of Mountain Highway and Lynn Valley Road.
