Colour Kodachrome 35 mm slide depicts people demonstrating with signs and flags, possibly against the treatment of Jews in the U.S.S.R. and Soviet expansion into the areas indicated on the signs. Protesters may have been marching to the Russian Embassy. Image was taken from inside a car. Text on signs include, from left: "Murdered [by] KGB," "Ukraine 1921," "Latvia 1941," "Lithuania 1941," "Hungary 1956," "Afghanistan [1979]" and "Human Rights." Photograph was possibly taken during the 29th Biennial Hadassah-WIZO Convention. See also L.20295.
